Joncaire Street Steps Replacement Project Update: Concrete Pouring This Week Inline image 1
 
Clearwater, the Contractor, will be placing concrete today and Thursday at 9 AM to pour #5 and #6 steps. Both days, they will be using Joncaire Street and single lane traffic is expected. 
 
Concrete placement is expected to be complete by Christmas.

Street closings on  on Sunday, September 24, 2017 for both the 10K and the 5K are divided into four separate zones. Zones C & D will be closed at 6:30 a.m. Zones A & B will close at 8:30 a.m. Each zone will re-open at different times. The schedule is as follows:

Oakland Planning and Development Corporation (OPDC) is launching a Community Land Trust (CLT) to preserve home ownership and guarantee affordability in Oakland’s residential neighborhoods.

​The URA has interest from a developer to build an office building inside the Pittsburgh Technology Center on 2nd Avenue. The proposal is for a 6-story 150,000 sf commercial office building. 
 
Their proposal to the URA, including results of community input process, are due September 15th, so they will be presenting at the South Oakland Neighborhood Group (SONG) meeting on Tue 9/5 at 6pm at Frazier Fieldhouse, with any interested members of the Oakcliffe Community Organization (OCO) attending as well.

Tuesday, July 11th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. there will be a community celebration and open house where the City of Pittsburgh and project partners will reveal the public draft of the EcoInnovation District Plan. 
  
Snacks and refreshments will be provided and sign language interpreters will be present. 
 
Can’t make the meeting? The plan will also be available on the project website (http://www.ecoinnovationdistrict.org/) along with an online comment form.

Public Meeting for Forbes Avenue Corridor Improvements Project
