South Oakland Junior Chess Club – FREE!
for South Oakland students ages 8-16 – Thursdays, 5-7PM
Frazier Field House, Dawson and Frazier Streets
All-level players welcome, beginner to advanced.

South Oakland Computer Club – FREE!
for South Oakland elementary school students – Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 4:30-7PM, Sundays 5:30-7PM.
Providing once weekly exposure and training for elementary school kids making use of computers — learning to develop computer software and create computer-based media including websites, stop-motion video, audio, etc.

After-School Program 4pm-8pm (Not currently running)
College students with child-care clearance tutor the children.
The children’s homework is checked.
The county supplies dinner which is served between 5-5:30pm
The children can play video games and are given art & craft projects.
If weather permits outside activities are done on the playground, ballfield or basketball court.
Summer Lunch Program (Not currently running)
For children 18 & under.
Lunch is served between 11am-12pm
Snacks are served between 2pm and 3:pm
Yoga – On hold till further notice, but let us know if you’re interested.

Kid’s Movie Night (Not regularly scheduled. Check back or ask for info)
Donations of food or movies welcome and encouraged.

Activities range from cards, to karaoke to just talking and getting to know your neighbors.
