We would like to invite you to provide your feedback on how we as a region can address opportunity gaps for our young people of color.

The Small Business Resource Fair – Government Edition is hosted by the Department of Innovation & Performance, the Mayor’s office, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority. This complimentary event is ideal for small business owners such as restaurateurs, retail owners, contractors, etc.
The purpose is to offer small business owners in-person access to representatives from all relevant departments within City services (zoning, permits, ADA compliance, etc.) in order to have their questions answered ― all in one location.

The City of Pittsburgh Department of Innovation and Performance will launch the “Pittsburgh Roadmap for Inclusive Innovation” on Tuesday, September 8.
The Roadmap for Inclusive Innovation has been a year-plus long engagement with the community and is based on extensive research and analysis of the City as well as best practices from around the world. It is a strategic plan aimed to improve the quality of life for all residents. The Roadmap encompasses over 100 projects that will support equitable access to technology, City resources, and information.

The City of Pittsburgh will host a World Cup Watch Party at Schenley Plaza in Oakland on Sunday, July 5, to cheer on the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) as they take on Japan in the 2015 Fifa Women’s World Cup Final.
Festivities begin at 5:00 p.m. with a musical performance from L'lamint on the Citiparks Show Mobile. Pre-game coverage begins as 6:30 p.m. prior to a 7:00 p.m. kickoff between the United States and Japan.
The Watch Party is presented in part by the Pittsburgh Dynamo Youth Soccer Association.
The family friendly event will be free and open to the public. Fans are encouraged to wear red, white and blue in support of Team USA. Alcoholic beverages and grills are not permitted. Rain or shine.
